The beloved General
Hospital's veteran who plays feisty nurse
Bobbie Spencer since 1977 gathered
a scrapbook of her most memorable
moments on the set and off.

When I looked at this
picture with Believe it or not, this was
the only shoot I ever did with Genie Francis (Laura). Kin Shriner (Scott) has
been one of my best friends for the last 25 years. A young and beautiful
Jacklyn in 1982.
1982: Doug Sheehan (ex Joe), to
me, is the one that got away. David Groth (ex Brock) and
I spent a lot af time together off the set. That hug was real. Sam
Behrens (ex Jake). Brad Maule (Tony) is
wonderful. Jacklyn with her husband
and children Lynn Herring (Lucy) and
Leigh McCloskey (ex Damian). This was with Tony, also
from the Nurses Ball. This came off the set of
shoting a promo with This was Bobbie and Jerry's
wedding in the Brownstone. A Martinez played the role
of Roy DiLucca, Jacklyn and Tony Geary (Luke).
Jacklyn Zeman and Leslie
Charleston (Monica) I'm with my mom Rita,
husband Glenn and
Norma Connelly (ex Ruby) and Tony Geary (Luke),
this is a
real, true family, not like TV make-believe.
We felt connected. Did then,
still do.
Even though Norma passed away,
she's still very much a part of
our lives and our thoughts.
This picture makes tears well up.

It was shot in the
living room in the house I was living in at the time.
We're dressed up in
old fashioned Victorian lace.
It wasn't a storyline photo - this was us in
our real clothes.

We're baby faces here,
probably in our early 20s.
The difference between then and now is that
now the young people are really hip and cool
and wear little belly
shirts.
Look how I'm dressed - like I could be his mother.

After a brief
absence Jacklyn come back on GH.
Her co-stars Denise Alexander (Lesley) and
Frank Maxwell (Dan)
were delighted to have her back.

I wanted so much to work with him.
At one
point, they were screen checking us to do a Joe/Bobbie story,
like they were
going to pair us up.
We had to sneak in the dark, pretending to be
bulglars,
and we were crawling around on the floor.
I had such a kick with
him.

I look at this picture with great
affection.
My story with him was my first dramatic, push-to-the limit
story.
I couldn't draw on anything that happened to me in real life
because it was so far removed from who I am
and the kind of relationship
I've had.

I loved him and his wife Shari Belafonte.
We still get
together.
At the time, when I heard I was going to get a story with Sam,
I was walking on air. I was so excited.
Jake grounded Bobbie.

To this day, people come up to me in the street and say,
"I
liked you with him. Why don't they put you back with him ?".
And I feel the
same way.
It's a big loss that he's not here as much as he used to be.
I
hope that changes.

Bobbie and Damian tangoed at this Nurses Ball.
We asked for that tango.
They asked what we wanted to do at the Nurses
Ball.
I said, "I used to dance.
Bobbie and Damian had a sexual
relationship,
so how about tango ?"
They went, "That 's good".
And
Look at Lynn. She look like Barbie in those dresses.
That body.

For Bobbie, every man she's ever been with is compared
to Luke.
Some measure up, some don't.
There's really tight bond there,
and we're always stayed away from
"What are the ramifications of that ?"

Stephen Nichols (ex Stefan) and Mary Beth Evans (ex
Katherine).
His character was such a core person on the show
that
stranger things have happened
- we may see him again. Who know?

The producers didn't like the curly hair.
When
I showed up on the set with the curls in my hair,
they were horrified.
My Bridal gown was one of my all time favorite dresses that I've
worn,
but they strongly dislike that, too.
They let me wear it, but I had
to fight for that dress.

Bobbie back from death boyfriend from 1999 to 2002.
"Our
first scene where Bobbie runs
into Roy on the dock was so exciting.
But
he is very calming.
Sometimes I just have to look at him
and it's like,
Okay, breathe."

were congratulated on their 25-year GH anniversary
by Chris Robinson (ex Rick) and Denise Alexander (Lesley).

daughters Lacey and Cassidy.
My girls are beaming.
Who wouldn't be, with Grandma and the circus all at once.
They invited us
every year and we always go.
We have a graet time at the circus.
